Hello!

First of all, a warning. This is a fannish journal in which there is discussion of such things as boybands, science fiction and slash. If you're not interested in fannish stuff, best not to venture in.

My "big fandom" is popslash, which is a glorious combination of pink glitter and gay sex - specifically, I'm an *Nsync fan, although I do also love the Backstreet Boys. I'm an incorrigible fic writer, and you can find all my finished fiction over on my writing journal, wanderingwombat. Be warned, it's RPF (real person fiction) and predominantly slashy.

I'm not really active in any other fandoms, per se, but other things I love include Doctor Who, Torchwood, Farscape, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Writing wise, I'm quickly discovering that I'm a challenge addict and a lot of my fiction is written for either challenges or requests. My first decent-length Popslash was my Make The Yuletide Gay story, and a lot of my stories are written for fic_requests or sky_pie. I'm also signed up for Remix 6 and pensnest's Third Dragon Challenge (Dragons, Dwarves and Dolphins) - and despite not being particularly crazy about JuC, am considering this year's JuC swap. I also submitted three stories to The Awesome April Challenge and am planning on submitting at least two to It's Gonna Be May.

And because that's not enough, I'm also signed up to fanfic100 (100 fics featuring Joey Fatone and Justin Timberlake - I've written two) and 12in2008 (12 stories of at least 5,000 words in 2008 - I've written none so far, though I do have plans). And we'll quietly forget about the fact that I'm still working on my word2urmomma story, which was due at the end of March, shall we?
